Selwyn J. Baptist, M.D., Chairman: a Board Certified Pathologist and Fellow of both the American College of Pathologists and the American College of Clinical Pathologists, is Chairman, Department of Pathology, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ. He is Councilor, Essex County Medical Society, NJ; Past Chair of AACC, NJ Section and was a member of AACC's International Advisory Group. He is Co-Chair of AIPNA?s international advisory committee to assist clinical laboratories in India get accredited. He is actively involved in teaching, research and has spoken at National and International meetings of Pathologists. He joined FAEE as a Board Member in 1993 and has served as Chairman since 2001.
Charmaine Lobo, Secretary: is a Vice President at Mizuho Corporate Bank (USA) and was previously at Moody's Investors Service and at Merrill Lynch. She lives in New Jersey and has been with the FAEE since 1996. She is also involved with other charity organizations in India.
Glenwyn P. Baptist, Treasurer: is Chief Investment Officer for International Investments at Prudential Financial, and President of Prudential International Investment Advisors, LLC. He is responsible for investment oversight of Prudential's asset management affiliates located in Mexico, Korea, and Taiwan, as well as the company's joint ventures in China, Germany and Italy. Prior to this position, Glen was the Director of Mutual Funds for Prudential fixed Income for 5 years, responsible for the product management of its domestic and offshore fixed income mutual funds, including product development, distribution, investment communication, and overall marketing strategy. Previously, Glen was Chief Operating Officer for Asset Management, responsible for business administration, and also he spent 6 years as Managing Director in charge of Fixed Income Research. Glen joined Prudential in 1986. He has a B.A. from St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore University, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Registered Representative.
Gerard Farias: is Associate Professor of Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. He teaches Strategic Management, Change Management and Organization Theory at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He is particularly interested in the role of business in global economic development, poverty alleviation and sustainability. His research and teaching emphasize these interests. Gerard was the founding Executive Director of the Institute for Sustainable Enterprise at Fairleigh Dickinson University. In addition to FAEE, he also serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Youth Symphony.
Marian Kamath, M.D.: (Original Cofounder and Chairman of FAEE till 2001) Alumnus of St. Aloysius College, and St. John's Medical College, India, Marian is Board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. In addition to founding and presiding over the "Island Primary Medical Care, P.C." (a multi-specialty group practice with satellite offices in Long Island, NY, affiliated with the Good Samaritan, and, New Island Hospitals, and Brunswick Medical Center, L.I.), he established the St. John's Medical College Physician's Exchange Program in conjunction with the Good Samaritan Hospital, L.I. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Board of Family Practice, Nassau County Medical Society, NY Medical Society, and the American Geriatric Society, and serves also as teaching attendant at Stony Brook University Hospital, and NYCOM College of Medicine.
Anand Lobo: B.A in Information systems, Fordham University New York 1988, B.S in accounting University of Kerala, India 1980. He has spent over twenty years in the International banking Industry specializing in finance, accounting, developing software, implementing banking system solutions. He joined the FAEE board in 1995.
Hubert Vas-Nayak: is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Houston-based Commerciant, Inc. Prior to that he was the Director of the IT Sector Program at the Houston Technology Center, and SVP of Marketing& Strategy at Impresa Technologies. At both organizations, he helped technology sector companies to establish and rapidly grow their market presence via processes he has honed over the course of his career. Prior to Impresa, Hubert co-founded Eclipse Networks, a network consulting company. Hubert has worked in marketing and strategy/consulting capacities, and has built 5 marketing departments/ organizations from the ground up. He has several industry firsts to his name in the telecom sector. Hubert holds an MBA from the University of Chicago?s Graduate School of Business, and a B.Tech from the IIT, Delhi.
Anil Ferris: MS, MBA: is a business consultant with his own company AFerris, LLC based in Scarsdale, NY. After working for many years at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, PepsiCola International and Cornell Medical College he now helps Fortune 500 companies re-organize their business and information technology processes. He is an alumnus of St. Joseph’s Boys High School in Bangalore and did a BE in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University before emigrating to the US. He joined theFAEE board in 2012.
